Just a heads-up — I’m a solo developer and have been building Bean independently since July 2022. It’s been a long journey of love, coffee, and code, and while it’s still a work in progress, I’m so grateful you’re here. Thanks for your patience and support as things continue to grow.

How Bean Works
At its core, Bean is built to make meaningful friendship easier. Start by building a profile that reflects the real you — from shared interests and values to your favorite podcasts, artists, icebreakers, and even weekend plans. It's not just a bio — it's an invitation to connect.
You can find and connect with people directly through our user discovery page — filtering by preferences like age, religion, ethnicity, shared interests, or even specific keywords. You don’t have to wait for an event to meet someone. Sometimes, the right friend is just a search away.
Events can be hosted by Bean, by community organisers, or even imported directly from platforms like Dice, Eventbrite, Tickxts, Luma and many more after approval. And yes — we always give credit to organisers and help amplify their reach.

I’m the founder and software engineer behind Bean — building everything you see here from the ground up. Since July 2022, I’ve been working solo on the design, code, and vision for a platform that makes finding real connection easier.
